Meanwhile, the police took the two boys under custody for an inquiry in the presence of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) officials. After inquiry, the boys were left in an orphanage in Ukkadam area on Monday night as their parents failed to turn up to take them along despite informing.
However on Tuesday, the parents of the boys petitioned district administration officials that their sons, who went to school on Monday, did not return home and had gone missing.
In a related development, PR Natarajan, MP, accompanied by students and their parents, petitioned the district administration officials, seeking to withdraw the false cases booked against the school principal and three teachers. The MP also sought to transfer the two boys to another school.
On Sunday night, the principal and three women teachers of the school were booked under Sections 7 (sexual assault) 8 (punishment for sexual assault) of the Pocso Act, Section 66 E of the Information Technology Act and Section 506 (i) (criminal intimidation).
In their complaint, the boys alleged that they were undressed and sexually assaulted by the principal in the presence of three women teachers while checking them for mobile phone on December 1.
The principal also recorded the act on his mobile phone and threatened the boys of uploading it on the social media, if they revealed the incident to anyone. Following the incident, the 15-year-old boy was admitted to CMCH for treatment.
