After leaving the Khaja Moideen and Syed Ali Nawas in West Bengal, the two had returned to Karnataka in the same SUV after travelling more than 4,000 km in four days.
The police sources noted that Mohamed Zyed - the third person arrested from Bengaluru – had helped Khaja Moideen have communication system in a laptop with end to end encrypted technology, which helped him have a secured communication, which cannot be intercepted or traced.
The three arrested from Bengaluru were not known to each other but were brain washed by Khaja Moideen about establishing an Islamic Caliphate in India.
It may be recalled that Khaja Moideen, his associates A Mohammed Shameem and N Syed Ali Nawaz, were arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of Hindu Munnani activist KP Suresh Kumar in the year 2014 in Ambattur.
All the three had vanished after coming out of jail on bail. Khaja Moideen was also said to be the chief of IS in Tamil Nadu and was arrested by NIA for his suspected links with the global terror outfit.
